Vashu Bhagnani-Netflix Dispute: In 2024, a dispute between Netflix and Pooja Entertainment emerged. Netflix had claimed that her money owed to Pooja Entertainment. At the same time, producer Vasu Bhagnani accused Netflix India of ‘fraud’ of Rs 47.37 crore. The OTT platforms then dismissed these allegations. But now Netflix India has ended the controversy by paying crores of money to Vasu Bhagnani.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying- ‘Both sides have agreed to the agreement. Netflix has paid a huge amount to Bhagnani to end the case. The exact figure only knows the heads, but it is believed that it is more than 20 crores. Both Netflix and Vasu Bhagnani-Jaiki Bhagnani have now decided to make a new beginning and are expecting a brilliant, long-lasting relationship with each other.
Vasu and Jackie had made these allegations on Netflix
In September 2024, Vasu Bhagnani and Jackie Bhagnani accused Netflix of cheating. The producers had filed a case on the OTT platform for not paying a dues of about Rs 47.37 crore. In the complaint lodged in the Economic Offections Wing of Mumbai Police, Vasu and Jackie claimed that Netflix made payment so far for the OT Rights of their three films- ‘Mission Raniganj’, ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’ and ‘Hero No.1’ Has not done

The allegations were told by Netflix ‘baseless’
The allegations of the producers were rejected outright by Netflix. The OTT platform had said- ‘These claims are completely baseless, inverted Pooja Entertainment owes Netflix money. We have a strong track record of partnership with the Indian Creative Community and we are working with the authorities to resolve the dispute.
